Saul Rasminsky - Owner/ Broker
I am a Canadian originally from Toronto and I first visited Costa Rica in 2004. I was on a surf trip with friends and I realized that this is the place where I am meant to live. It has been my full-time home since 2005. Before moving to Dominical, I lived in Vancouver, BC for 10 years, where I began working in real estate. I started Dominical Real Estate in 2008 after spending several years developing and investing in land in the Dominical area. I have very extensive knowledge of the area and the real estate market and I enjoy sharing that knowledge with everyone. My goal is to help people make the best investment as well as to find the perfect home or property so they can enjoy Costa Rica as much as I do!!!!!

I was born in New Jersey and grew up in New Jersey, New Hampshire, California, and Massachusetts. I started the University at New England Conservatory of Music studying classical guitar and composition and then finished in a dual degree program with Tufts University graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Immediately after graduation, I switched to computer engineering and ultimately built my own software company which I sold to Computer Associates in 1993.
I was introduced to Costa Rica in 1989, bought some land here in 1990, and found myself returning so often that by 1996 I made one of the best decisions of my life - to move to Costa Rica permanently. I started my own real estate brokerage and spent many of the early years developing communities, building spec houses, and growing the brokerage. After 20 years of running my own real estate brokerage, I joined Saul’s in order to do what I like best – work with people to help them discover the soul of Costa Rica and then help them find their place in it.

I'm from Richmond VA originally but have spent time in many other states and countries. I earned my B.S. degrees in business and justice studies at North Carolina Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, North Carolina in 1998. After college, I lived overseas for 3 years in Australia, and the Virgin Islands, before moving back to the United States and immersing myself in real estate. I spent 13 years working for Remax Elite and Reliant Realty in Nashville TN as a real estate broker, and team leader. I helped manage one of the top 10 real estate teams in the state, and have helped negotiated over 500 home sales.
I have been visiting Costa Rica since 2001, and my wife and I made a permanent move to Costa Rica in 2015. And we haven’t looked back! As well as being a real estate broker, I also own and operate a property management company here in Costa Rica.
As simple as it seems, I believe my greatest strength as your guide to real estate and all things Costa Rica is my ability to listen and translate what I’ve heard into the best solution for you. I don’t want to sell just any property, I want to help you find the right one!
Every day I still learn new things from the locals. I get excited whenever I find a new species of insect or animal in our community, as well as enjoying all the local fruits, the ‘Tico’ cuisine, their customs, and their language. I am truly living the Pura Vida life, and sharing the newfound knowledge and excitement with my friends and clients.
What makes me happy, is making people happy. I love exploring, and have many more destinations on my travel bucket list. But for now, I indulge in Costa Rica. The Costa Ballena in particular. And I love it, and love to share it.
Truly feeling at home will make memories that stay with you a lifetime. I want to help you feel at home in our "little slice of paradise.

I spent seven years of my childhood in Nicaragua, and the bond I had to Central America, its cultures, and its flora and fauna was never broken. In 2006, I moved from Switzerland to Costa Rica for the first time. My lifelong dream was to build a home with my own two hands, and in 2015 I made the decision to buy a plot of land in the Southern Pacific zone of Costa Rica. After three years of diligent effort, my personal home project in a high-end gated community was accomplished. From breaking ground to fitting the last cabinet it presented many challenges but was also a very educational and fulfilling experience.
Professionally, I have a Masters in Education from the University of Applied Sciences of Solothurn, Switzerland, and was a former high school teacher there. I also have many years of experience managing and renting vacation homes and have a solid understanding and good manual dexterity as regards construction and maintenance of properties. I speak German (and Swiss German), English, Spanish and French fluently, and I and my lovely wife, Daniela, have two wonderful children and enjoy exploring the beaches and the surrounding nature with our children during our free time.

After traveling to CR for 20 yrs for surfing, four years ago my wife and I decided to move here permanently. Helping close friends and family find their dream properties here in paradise for the last year, I decided to make it my profession. After receiving my Realtor Certification from CRGAR, an international realtor association, I did just that. I treat all my clients with the respect and patience they deserve, the same as I would my own family. Growing up in a small rural town on the Eastern Shore of MD, I truly appreciate the assets of a tight community: dependability, honesty, and respect for one another. Teaching English in the local area, and to those around the world has taught me how important listening attentively build a strong report which inherently gives both individuals the details needed to solve any issue. Customer service and searching until the perfect property is found is what I do best. Welcome to our Southern Zone, we think of as heaven-

I am from Costa Rica, I grew up in the area of San Isidro, I have traveled all over the country knowing the wonderful places it has, the surf spots all over the country, and getting to know the different cultures. I decided to live in the Dominical area, I fell in love with the area and my goal is to help other people to live in this beautiful country and find the place of their dreams in this little paradise called Costa Rica.
I finished my studies in college and worked for a few years in another profession but in my family have worked in real estate. I fell in love with this job when I was a kid and always dreamed of working in this, and now I decided to make my dreams come true.
One of the things that make me happiest is to make other people happy and I know that living in a place like this makes anyone happy and as we say here in Costa Rica living in the PURA VIDA.
I am a young person with a big heart, big dreams, and ambitions fighting every day to fulfill them, learning more every day. And always treating my clients with a lot of respect and patience I know we will achieve our goal.
Choose a job that you like and you will never work in your life...
