The home is a two level, architect designed statement, totally harmonious with the natural surroundings. Fully accessible to the many view decks. Depending on the season, you may see a pod of humpbacked or pilot whales, sounding, broaching and spouting water as they make their way down the coast to their breeding grounds in nearby Drake Bay. Plus, fill your ears with the sound of the tropics…. the soothing sounds of birds and frogs and cicadas humming.

You are within 20 minutes or less, to any of a dozen area beaches for swimming, surfing, fishing, kayaking, shelling or just exploring, or visit the nearby Hacienda Baru or Rancho Merced wildlife refuges for nature tours, afoot or by horseback, zipline and canopy tours and birdwatching. There are horseback rides to nearby waterfalls, sport fishing excursion, a day of exploration by kayak in the mangroves along a part of the coast which is laced with caves and caverns or snorkeling. SCUBA diving or whale watching in Uvita’s Marina Ballena national park or more distant Cano Island National Preserve is also close by. Shopping, banking (including ATMs), fine and budget dining and night life are available in Dominical and Uvita, both within a 10 minute drive from the Casa.
